Wow! Thank you for your very kind comments! You just made my day. It is very sad that I actually am in a creative hiatus at this time being in grad school f/t and woking f/t. It is people like you who appreciate my work who make me rethink my goals and reevaluate my priorities... I love what I do as a nurse that is why I am in school again to grow professionally in my field but I also love photography and want to improve my skills...

As a “paint & brush” guy, let me asusre you that pixels are as good as paint any day. (Full disclosure ~ while I am adept with a brush or pencil, I barely know how to use a computer.) The medium is only as creative as the person controlling it. You have a very interesting painterly sensibility ~ not everyone working in your medium has it. The fascinating aspect of your work (at least for me) is that it’s in that fuzzy area where art rubs up against technology & I suspect some people aren’t really comfortable with the friction. I find it intriguing. I can’t speak for the art world as a whole, but I find what you & other programers like Robert Hodgin are playing around with to be extremely creative, absolutely compelling, quite beautiful, & perfectly valid as art. The value is only obscured to those wearing blinders.

Hello Rushlyn!
I have, excitedly, finished my painting for my niece. I have a website where I would like to post a copy of it (it's a retail site, but I can post the digital version without linking it to purchase opportunities). I would really like you to see it. Please let me know if it is OK to post this painting. I'd be pleased to give you credit for your inspirational photo.

Thanks so much!!!

Hi Rosalyn,
My neice has requested that I paint a copy of a photo of a tiger lily that you took. She has just moved into her first apartment. I am writing to ask your permission to do so.

Thank you for considering my request.

LOL! that happens a lot, doesn't it? My first major in college was Interdisciplinary Art Studies... never did graduate from that. Then I shifted to Biology, got my degree, then when I learned I only have several more courses to take to finish up Chemistry, I did that. Then wanted to go to med school so I took premedical studies (separate college degree) and finished that... but ended up not wanting to go to med school so I took up BSN. -the end. Will work on my MSN/MBA next year LOL

Wow, 4 college degrees. And I thought I was great. LOL. I have 2 majors and 2 minors. Working on my Master's right now. And the irony, none of these education stuff is related to my current job. Life, what can I say, right?
