(Full disclosure ~ while I am adept with a brush or pencil, I barely know how to use a computer.) The medium is only as creative as the person controlling it. You have a very interesting painterly sensibility ~ not everyone working in your medium has it. The fascinating aspect of your work (at least for me) is that it’s in that fuzzy area where art rubs up against technology & I suspect some people aren’t really comfortable with the friction. I find it intriguing. I can’t speak for the art world as a whole, but I find what you & other programers like Robert Hodgin are playing around with to be extremely creative, absolutely compelling, quite beautiful, & perfectly valid as art. The value is only obscured to those wearing blinders.

My first major in college was Interdisciplinary Art Studies… never did graduate from that. Then I shifted to Biology, got my degree, then when I learned I only have several more courses to take to finish up Chemistry, I did that. Then wanted to go to med school so I took premedical studies (separate college degree) and finished that… but ended up not wanting to go to med school so I took up BSN. -the end. Will work on my MSN/MBA next year LOL
